The ranked ladder in Sniper Arena uses a 32-point Elo system with asymmetric distribution. Victories award an average 32 points while defeats deduct fewer, encouraging continuous engagement and masking minor skill plateaus.
Net Elo Gain Per Match
Net Elo gain per match is calculated as (WinRate × WinPoints) − ((1 − WinRate) × LossPoints). At a 55 percent win rate, the net gain is roughly +6.4 points per match. At 50 percent, the net is zero — the player stalls indefinitely.
Upper-Bracket Friction
Above 2,500 Elo, matchmaking friction increases dramatically. Queue times extend to 8-12 minutes as the matchmaking pool thins out. Wins against lower-rated opponents yield progressively fewer points. The Elo coefficient is modelled as decreasing logarithmically above the 2,500 threshold.
Daily Credit Caps
If the developer introduces a hypothetical daily Credit cap of 10,000 Credits, the calculator extends the climb timeline proportionally. Most players will not hit this cap organically, but credit-grinding macro users might.
